Short hike to some beautiful waterfalls. Bathrooms were closed down, possibly for the season, and although we didn't have a hard time finding a spot, parking seems pretty limited so I'm sure it can get crowded there during the warmer seasons.
I love this place, I have so many memories as a child spending time here. The Falls are beautiful, it's really a hidden gem. Safe enough even for kids to climb around on some of the rocks - as long as they have supervision.
A fairly large waterfall with a considerable volume of water going over it. The relatively short loop trail passes by several side streams that were pretty. Undoubtedly they would be improved with more water, but most were flowing enough. The trail is very rooty and could be tricky if wet.
It's a beautiful place with a nice little area to set up and picnic. Also has pretty good walking trails and a second small waterfall that you can climb up and explore. The downside is the steep climb down the rocky bottom of the Stream.
Beautiful waterfall and several small cascading falls along the trails. Picnic area with pavilion and hibachi plus other areas with picnic tables and fire places. No entrance fee. No water, only portapotty. It is changed regularly. Great exercise and cheap day out with kids
